Internship Work
I began my internship with Vervint as a communications and marketing intern in May of 2023. Although my internship was intended to be a twelve-week summer program, I happily accepted an offer to extend it throughout the 2023-2024 school year. During my internship, I have worked on a wide variety of tasks in both the communications and marketing departments. Managing social media accounts, writing newsletters, and producing creative videos are just a few of my duties as a Vervint intern.
Company Call Introduction Videos
For each monthly company call at Vervint, I have developed a creative and culture-focused video to kick off the meeting. My work on these videos typically involves the coordination of interviews, script writing, directing, filming, and editing. Here is a recent example of a video that I wrote a script for, directed, and edited.
Vervint Band Music Videos
Vervint has a band made up of musically-talented employees that performs at major company events. When I joined Vervint as an intern, I took on the task of directing, filming, and editing band music videos to air at events such as a brand launch party and annual fiscal year kickoff conference.
Internal Newsletters
One of my primary tasks as an intern at Vervint is to write, edit, and source material for internal monthly newsletters. Below is an example of some of the content I have developed for a recent newsletter.

Social Media
While working with Vervint’s marketing team, I scheduled daily social media posts using Hubspot on Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn. I learned to follow their specific social media strategy on each platform, write in the brand’s voice and tone, and develop specific campaigns that align with the brand guidelines.
